Our crew, led by crew Forman Will Harris, started on this basement by removing the old sump pump that was once in the basement. Then our crew began to jack hammer the perimeter of the basement so that the WaterGuard drainage system could be installed. Once there was a space for the WaterGuard to be laid down, it was leveled out at a slight angle so that any water that was to enter the system would flow towards the new SuperSump Pump, then covered with concrete. The SuperSump Pump system is one of the best sump pumps on the market. The system can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water an hour, a WaterWatch Alarm System, A SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid. The WaterWatch alarm system warns the homeowner of when water has reached the top of the pump. The Airtight Lid keeps moisture from evaporating into the basement, keeps bugs out, and is strong enough to stack items on top of so that you don’t lose floor space in your basement. The water that drains from the WaterGuard into the SumpPump is then flushed out to the yard through the LawnScape Outlet.
In the “before” picture you see water stains at the bottom of the stairs and in the “after” picture you see where WaterGuard has been installed to intercept the water.
This basement in Hendersonville, NC was having water seep into it where the wall and the floor met. In the pictures that were taken during the free estimate by our design specialist, David Listovitch, you can see where the floor and bottom of the wall has water stains and dirt. This water was coming down the hill through the flower bed and against the exterior basement wall. The homeowners placed a fan in this section of the basement as an attempt to keep it dry to avoid high moisture levels and humidity.
Our crew led by crew foreman Jose Najera, installed 62 units of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement.
This basement had severe water intrusion causing this area to be a damp, moldy, and unusable space. After installing our WaterGuard System and BrightWall Panels, along with other products, this is now a more appealing and viable space.
The "before" picture shows just how serious of a problem water intrusion can be, creating a damp, moldy, and potentially dangerous situation.
The "after" picture is after our team installed the Waterguard System-which drains any water away from the basement floor and walls, BrightWall Panels, as well as other products. The difference between the two is incredible!
This home in Hendersonville, NC was experiencing water issues in their basement. Water would seep down the walls of the basement and begin to puddle around the perimeter of the area. To solve this issue our All-Dry of the Carolinas team installed WaterGuard. The WaterGuard system is added to basements by jackhammering the perimeter. Once the cement is removed the WaterGuard System is paced into the space then recovered with cement. The WaterGuard system intercepts the water at the perimeter of the basement and drains it unseen and safely into the SmartSump where it is then flushed from the basement. WaterGuard is different because it is designed to not sit in dirt like most draining systems do. There is a special wall flange that creates space between the floor and wall allowing wall seepage to drain through the WaterGuard while keeping it away from the dirt. Since this type of drainage is separated from dirt, the chances of it clogging are nearly impossible! The WaterGuard leads the water to the SuperSump where it is then flushed from the basement outside to the LawnScape outlet. All resulting in a dry basement!
