Crawl Space Repair - Drain Tile Being Installed

Drain tile is a 3-inch diameter plastic pipe that has holes in it and covered in a sock. The sock is to keep as much dirt out as possible so that the pipe does not clog. It is covered in gravel, so that bigger pieces of dirt and debris don't even make it do the drain, because this drain leads to the sump pump, where all of the water is pumped outside the home.
