Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Williamston, SC Owners Wanted an Encapsulation and Got One

The owners of this Williamston, South Carolina home had major issues with its crawlspace. Every issue beneath the home always managed to travel up through the rest of the home. The residents were finding issues make themselves known by way of sticking doors and buckling floors. It was a problem that was beginning to increase in regularity. The owners did some research themselves and came to the conclusion that the crawlspace needed an encapsulation. Our Design Specialist wholeheartedly agreed. We sent out Jonathan Geddie to give the concerned residents a free estimate. After reviewing both the actual home and the crawlspace, the Specialist knew exactly what needed to be done. The entire area needed to be wrapped in our patented CleanSpace liner, including all support piers. All interior vents needed to be removed or sealed. An Aprilaire 1850 dehumidifier would remove all current moisture from the air. To handle the water problem coming in through the walls, a SmartSump would be installed. The crew would need to connect it to the LawnScape Outlet which would funnel all collected water outside of the home and away from the foundation. The crew consisting of Foreman Will Harris, TJ Tumlin, and Daniel Sanders was able to complete this process without a hitch. The finished product really makes a believer out of you. Fortunately, the owners quite liked the look and lives with it happily.
