The Owners Did Try
The owners, before coming to us, knew a little about keeping a crawlspace moisture free. They'd attempted to install a thin liner along the dirt floor. It was meant to keep water vapor from rising into the air. However, without a sufficient material, it doesn't come close to doing that task.
The Vent Problem
Those vents are endlessly problematic. The idea behind the vent is actually more helpful than the actual vent. These openings actually allow in outside air, which, in turn, makes the crawlspace more humid.
Our CleanSpace Is...
Our CleanSpace liner is really the only liner. It's 20mils thick and nearly impossible to rip or tear. It's the ultimate barrier from the earth, and leaves the crawlspace looking clean and futuristic (as a bonus).
SmartSump is Smartly Placed
Here we have that delightful SmartSump pump. Traditionally, the pumps are placed at the lowest spot in the crawlspace, and that just happens to be near the entrance. But, don't let that scare you. Depending on the crawlspace, the pump may even end up at the crawlspace's very center. This just makes it easier for the water to get to it.
