The Crawlspace at a Distance
This is the first shot we have as the Design Specialist entered the crawlspace. We see the most common issue right here: there's a dirt floor in the crawlspace. Many homes that have crawlspaces have dirt floors. It so happens to be the cheaper option. However, with all of the issues that may come along with a dirt floor, it doesn't stay the cheapest option for long.
Ventilation
It's always a good idea to get vents sealed in crawlspaces. The main reason that mold or mildew is getting into other parts of your home is because of the vents. You don't want that moisture to travel? Seal those vents.
The Liner That Tried and Failed
Notice here that the homeowners attempted to have a plastic liner installed before All-Dry came out. However, this one was not nearly thick enough, nor was it secured. Without a patented liner, you're basically inviting mold, insects, critters and odors right into the rest of your home.
The CleanSpace Solution
Our CleanSpace liner and CleanSpace Wall are two of the best things to have in a crawlspace. CleanSpace isolates your home from the ground, thereby separating it from odors, critters and the like that spring up from the ground. It's a barrier that does the job better than anything else out there.
