Crawlspace During Initial Inspection
This photo gives a good look at the crawlspace when our System Design Specialist first came out to the home. While this crawlspace wasn't in the worst shape, it certainly had some room for improvement. Our Specialist was able to draw up an estimate for exactly what this homeowner wanted and the crawlspace needed.
Crawlspace with Falling Insulation
This crawlspace was not having serious moisture issues like many homes that we visit. However there were a few areas where insulation had begun to fall. While this may have just happened over time, it is certainly something to pay attention to, as this is a common sign of high humidity levels.
Another Photo of the Falling Insulation
Here is another picture that shows several pieces of insulation that have fallen. There is a very good chance that the cause of the falling insulation was a high humidity level, especially since the back sides of the insulation look as though they are wet.
CleanSpace Installed in Damp Crawlspace
Here is a picture of the crawlspace with our CleanSpace liner installed. Fortunately, since the home wasn't dealing with too much water, the CleanSpace was enough to seal everything up and prevent any more damage caused by the high humidity levels.
Last Photo of CleanSpace Liner
This photo shows the crawlspace with the installed CleanSpace liner once again. When installing CleanSpace, our crews do an excellent job ensuring that everything is sealed up properly. This includes going up the walls (leaving enough room for other contractors to inspect) and wrapping the piers under the home to help keep moisture out.
