Crawlspace During Initial Inspection
This picture gives a pretty good look at the crawlspace that our Design Specialist first saw when he went out to the home. In this photo some of the falling insulation can be seen. This photo also shows how low this area was for our crew to work in.
Another Photo Showing Pre-Installation Crawlspace
This photo gives an even better look at the unecapsulated crawlspace. There is a full piece of insulation that has almost completely fallen down, as well as some smaller pieces towards the back wall. This is a very common indicator of high humidity levels in a crawlspace.
Final Photo of Pre-Installation Crawlspace
This is the last photo of the crawlspace before our crew came out to pull the insulation and encapsulate the crawlspace of the home. In this photo, a full piece of insulation has fallen from the floor joists. This homeowner definitely had the right idea to give us a call to help with the water and high humidity levels under the home.
Crawlspace Encapsulated with CleanSpace Liner
This photo shows the enormous difference between the crawlspace before the installation and after the CleanSpace was rolled out. Another big difference is that the crew removed the entirety of the insulation under the home, taking care of the wet, moldy insulation.
CleanSpace Sealed Along Crawlspace Wall
This gives a great look at how the CleanSpace is installed. The crew will always take the CleanSpace up the wall at least a couple of feet (if possible). This is to ensure that the crawlspace is as sealed off as possible, by prevent water and moisture from coming through the crawlspace walls.
Installed CleanSpace and Dehumidifier
This photo shows off the dehumidifier that was installed in this homeowner's crawlspace. The dehumidifier is a very important part of an encapsulated crawlspace. While the CleanSpace does a great job at keeping water and moisture out, the dehumidifier ensures that the humidity levels stay under the level where mold can grow.
Installed SmartDrain in Crawlspace
Many homes are in need of a sump pump, as they are getting quite a lot of water in the crawlspace. However, not every crawlspace is like that, as was the case for this home. However our Design Specialist did suggest this homeowner have a SmartDrain installed, which will alert the homeowner of a plumbing leak.
