Crawlspace Before CleanSpace Installation
This is what the crawlspace looked like when the Systems Design Specialist first took a look at the home. This area doesn't look particularly bad, but there are some signs of water getting into the crawlspace and high moisture problems. There are several spots along the wall indicating water has gotten through.
Crawlspace Before Installation of CleanSpace
This shows another view of the crawlspace before the installation of the CleanSpace Encapsulation system. This crawlspace had a plastic liner like many crawlspaces that we see. However, the majority of the time these liners provide no real protection.
Moisture Meter
This is not something that we show off too often. However the moisture reading for this floor joist in this crawlspace was very high. The reading for this particular piece of wood was at 22% moisture, which as shown by the convenient light on the moisture meter, was much higher than normal.
Installed CleanSpace Encapsulation System
Here the CleanSpace that was installed in the crawlspace can be seen. The floor was done with our normal CleanSpace liner, however the walls were done with CleanSpace Clear liner. We used this liner so that any other contractors that may come out to the home would be able to see the block wall.
Another View of the CleanSpace Encapsulation
Here is another view showing off the crawlspace with the CleanSpace installed. The normal CleanSpace was taken about a foot up the wall and the rest was covered with out CleanSpace Clear liner. It is still sealed up like we normally do with CleanSpace, it just provides a see through option for CleanSpace.
Installed SuperSumpPlus and CleanSpace Liner
The last photo in this album shows off some more of the CleanSpace, but also shows off the SuperSumpPlus which is an important part of the system. One of the most important parts of this system was the WaterWatch alarm, which lets the homeowner know if water levels get too high.
