Mold on Floor Joist
Here is just one of the many reasons that this homeowner knew that they needed to get their crawlspace looked at. Mold is covering a significant portion of this floor joist, and if you look closely at the right hand side of the picture, the back of the insulation is completely soaked.
Fallen Insulation
This is another very obvious sign of water intrusion in a crawlspace. Insulation acts similarly to a sponge, when water (in this case moisture) is around the insulation will just suck it right up. Once the insulation is saturated enough it becomes heavy and will start to sag and droop until it eventually falls down, just like the insulation in this photo.
Another Photo of the Unencapsulated Crawlspace
This photo just shows off a little more of the crawlspace, but even this photo of part of the crawlspace wall can give some insight into the situation. There are parts along the wall where the mortar between the bricks is missing which gives water an even easier path into the crawlspace.
Installed CleanSpace Liner
This photo shows off what the crawlspace looked like after the CleanSpace liner was installed. It completely changed the look and function of this crawlspace. The CleanSpace covered the entirety of the floor and the majority of the wall, essentially completely sealing up the crawlspace from the outside.
Another Photo Showing Off the Encapsulated Crawlspace
This photo gives another look at the crawlspace after the crew laid out and sealed up all of the CleanSpace. One of the most important parts of this system is getting the CleanSpace sealed up between sheets and along the wall. Making sure everything is sealed up is so important because it is what really keeps the crawlspace separate from the outside.
One last Photo of the Installed CleanSpace
CleanSpace really does do an incredible job with transforming crawlspaces. Just a few weeks before this photo was taken this area with full of moisture, mold, and falling insulation. We absolutely stand behind our products and have seen them relieve homeowner's worries for almost three decades!
Installed SuperSump Pump System
Our sump pumps are not just a pump thrown into a hole (or a bucket) in the ground. All of our sump systems come with several different features to really set it apart. There are four main parts of the SuperSump; the SuperLiner which is a heavy duty liner with a total of 96 holes that allow water to flow in, the pump itself which is a 1/3 Horsepower pump capable of pumping over 2,500 gallons per hour, the airtight lid which prevents water or water vapor from getting out of the sump once it is already in, and one of the coolest features is the WaterWatch Alarm System. The WaterWatch Alarm is the little red cylinder that is on top of the lid, however it actually has a probe that goes down into the cavity and if for some reason there is a pump failure, the WaterWatch Alarm will notify you that there may be an issue.
LawnScape Outlet in Yard
Our crews are great at installing our products without making it seem like we were actually there. This photo shows the discharge line from the sump pump. While the soil leading away from the home to the small green LawnScape outlet is slightly discolored, it would be pretty easy to just glance over it.
