Crawlspace Before CleanSpace Installation
This is what the crawlspace looked like before the CleanSpace was installed. The ground in the crawlspace was soaked thoroughly and was one of the main reasons that this homeowner called us. This was extremely, unfortunate for the homeowner, but our Specialist knew that with the right products, we could definitely help this homeowner have a healthy crawlspace!
Dirt/Clay Covering Old Crawlspace Liner
This photo is a great example of why the majority of crawlspace liners don't work, especially when they aren't sealed along the walls. There was enough water in the crawlspace that it was able to move a good amount of dirt and clay on top of the liner, showing that it was not sealed very good at all.
Standing Water in Crawlspace
This is something that no one ever wants to see in their crawlspace, but unfortunately, many homeowners do. This issue was particularly bad in this crawlspace, with this puddle of water being just one of many throughout the area. These puddles are how most of the dirt and mud was able to get on top of the liner, instead of staying under.
Completely Transformed Crawlspace
With the help of CleanSpace, a great crew, and a few other products, this crawlspace went from being extremely wet and moldy to clean and healthy. Our crew did a great job of removing the insulation in the crawlspace and installing the CleanSpace on the floor and walls, completely encapsulating it.
Installed CleanSpace Liner
This photo shows off the crawlspace with the CleanSpace finally installed. It completely changes the look, but more importantly the function of the crawlspace. It is now free of mold and will continue to be with the CleanSpace, because it creates a barrier from the crawlspace and earth.
Wrapped Columns
Our system is designed to ensure that as little moisture as possible can get into the crawlspace of the home. One way this is done is by wrapping the columns in the crawlspace. The CleanSpace goes partially up because there is dirt at the base of the column, where moisture could potentially come up and get into the crawlspace.
Installed Dehumidifier and CleanSpace
This may just look like a ton of wires and ducting, but it actually gives a pretty good look at some more of the CleanSpace that was installed in the crawlspace, as well as the dehumidifier. While the CleanSpace does an excellent job of keeping moisture out of the crawlspace, the dehumidifier is there to remove any moisture that does happen to make its way in.
