Damp Crawlspace Floor
This photo gives a pretty good shot at what a crawlspace that has water intrusion may look like. The area that is not covered by the plastic sheeting is much darker, indicating that it is saturated. This is just one of the many signs of water intrusion in a crawlspace, but one of the more obvious ones.
Another Photo of Pre-Installation Crawlspace
Many crawlspaces look almost exactly like the one pictured here. They may or may not be suffering from high moisture levels, but these thin, black liners are extremely common. These liners don't necessarily make things worse under a crawlspace, but they certainly don't keep water or moisture from getting into the crawlspace.
Wider View of the Crawlspace
This gives a little more broad view of the crawlspace before it was encapsulated. One small thing that can be easily overlooked is the the open crawlspace vents in the photo (where the light is coming through). When installing our system we are trying to completely encapsulate the crawlspace and keep it separate from the outside. We do this by sealing the vents off, keeping outside air form getting into the crawlspace.
Installed CleanSpace Liner
Here is the CleanSpace liner that was able to completely transform the crawlspace of this home. The CleanSpace that was installed in this crawlspace was put almost all of the way up the wall. This helps to keep moisture from getting into the crawlspace, by covering up more of the wall.
Even More CleanSpace
The way that our crews are trained is pretty incredible. The way that they install CleanSpace liner makes crawlspaces look like somewhere you could actually spend time. They do a great job at following the curves and edges of the crawlspace to utilize the space.
A Whole New Crawlspace
CleanSpace does an extremely good job with changing the entire look and function of a crawlspace. It makes the area look much better and gives a a more clean look. More importantly the CleanSpace prevents moisture from getting into the crawlspace and makes the area much safer and more usable.
Sealing CleanSpace Around Pipes and Wires
Crawlspaces aren't always the prettiest parts of the home, with wires, pipes, air ducts, and just about anything else you can think of. These are all things that our crew have to work around when installing CleanSpace in the crawlspace of the home, but one of the major things that our crews have to make sure of is where these wires/pipes/etc come through the walls. The crew makes sure that the holes are sealed up and moisture cannot get through.
Installed SuperSump
Here is a very important part of the system that was installed in the crawlspace of this home. The sump pump is where all of the water drains to under the CleanSpace. It is also the area where all of this water is pumped outside and away from the home. There are several different features that our sump pump systems have that differentiate themselves from most of the sump pumps out there.
Sump Pump Discharge
This is where the sump pump that was installed in the crawlspace discharges to. It is far enough away from the home that the water won't flow back towards the home and get recycled. It has a pretty low profile which ensures that it will not stick out.
