Entrance to Crawlspace
This was actually a very interesting crawlspace because of where the entrance to it was. The way that the home was set up, the crawlspace entrance was actually located in the laundry room of the home. This was certainly not something we deal with every day, so it was a fun little challenge to have!
Inside the Unencapsulated Crawlspace
This was a picture of the crawlspace when you first enter into it. The lowest area in this photo, which is the area under the pipe, has some moisture in it. Now part of this is shadow, but it also gives a look at some of the moisture that was in the crawlspace. This crawlspace also got pretty steep and much tighter, the further back it goes.
Farther Into the Crawlspace
This photo takes us a little further into the crawlspace of this home, where it got much tighter. There is also quite a bit of installation still in the crawlspace, but this will disappear within the next couple photos!
Back of the Crawlspace
Here is the very back of the crawlspace that we were working on in this home. As you can see, it got pretty tight this far back. One thing that we had to do before pretty much anything else was to remove this old crawlspace liner. This liner may help to keep your jeans from getting dirty, but it certainly won't help keep moisture from getting into your crawlspace, which is what most homeowners need.
Installed CleanSpace Liner
This is what it was all leading up to, the installed CleanSpace Liner! Now this homeowner doesn't have to worry about moisture getting into their crawlspace and causing problems any more! The CleanSpace is installed almost all the way up the crawlspace wall, so that even less water can get through to the crawlspace.
