Old Crawlspace Entrance
Here is the old entrance to this crawlspace. While It actually looks better than many of the other entrances that we've seen over the years, it is still open and it still allows for air, water, and moisture to come into the crawlspace.
Open Old Crawlspace Entrance
Here is the same entrance as the first picture, but with the doors open to the crawlspace. In this photo, there is still earth that is open into the crawlspace. So not only is water, rain, etc able to make it through the cracks in the wood and doors, but the crawlspace will still experience water intrusion through the soil.
Installed Turtl
This is the actual Turtl unit. It is a hard plastic entrance that further encapsulates the crawlspace and is also air tight. This means that no water, or air, will be able to get into the crawlspace and cause moisture issues.
Front View of Turtl
Here is another view of the Turtl, from the front. It goes deep into the ground and actually covers the ground, so that no water intrusion will come from the ground. You may also notice that the Turtl has an area for a lock, so if you store things in your encapsulated crawlspace, you can be sure that they are safe by locking them up.
Open Turtl
This is the view from outside of the crawlspace, looking in through the Turtl. This gives a good view of how the Turtl is formed in one large piece and covers the ground, so that no water vapor will come up from the ground.
Looking Into the Crawlspace
This is almost the same view as the last picture, except on the other side of the Turtl. It gives another great view of the Turtl.
From Crawlspace Looking Towards the Turtl
This is what the Turtl looks like from inside the crawlspace. Our crew makes sure is fits tight so that no air or water can get into the crawlspace.
