Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Vapor Barrier in Toccoa, GA

This crawlspace in Toccoa had some very intense water intrusion into its crawlspace. While the entire crawlspace wasn't completely flooded, there were large pools of water throughout the crawlspace. This photo album will show off this crawlspace and the problems that it had.

Pool of Water

This amount of water is, obviously, very unhealthy to have under your home. This water will evaporate and begin to soak into the insulation and floor joists, causing mold to grow.

Even More Water

Here is an even bigger puddle under the home. This water had been here for awhile and was slowly evaporating into the crawlspace. This can be very dangerous, as it lets mold grow, which can cause respiratory issues.

Old Crawlspace Liner

This was the old liner that the homeowner had installed prior to calling us. Unfortunately, this liner was not able to do the job for them. It wasn't thick enough to be effective, but the real problem was that it was improperly sealed. This improper seal lets the moisture escape, which is what we don't want to happen.

Installed CleanSpace Liner

The transformation that CleanSpace can make is almost unbelieveable. This crawlspace was filled with water; it was wet, gross, and a lot of other things. However, with a little time, a great crew, and a couple of amazing products, we can make a crawlspace into an almost brand new place!

Installed CleanSpace Liner and SuperSump

This picture shows off the installed CleanSpace, as well as the SuperSump pump that was installed. It is barely in sight, but towards the bottom right of the photo, it is visible. The discharge line is also visible. The pump pumps the water through this discharge line, into the yard.
