Crawlspace Before CleanSpace
While this definitely was not the messiest part of the crawlspace, it is what you can't see that is really the killer. The humidity levels in this crawlspace were much higher than they should have been. That was what caused this homeowner to need our system to be installed.
Messy Crawlspace and Falling Insulation
Falling insulation is a common sign of increased humidity and a sign that mold or mildew could be on its way. The moisture gets into the fiberglass insulation and starts to weigh it down, causing it to fall.
Incorrectly Installed Liner
One of the most important parts of installing a crawlspace liner is sealing it. This is so crucial because if it isn't sealed correctly, then moisture is still able to get into the crawlspace, which is exactly the opposite of what should happen. While this liner will help keep your jeans from getting dirty, it won't help moisture from getting into your crawlspace.
Installed CleanSpace Liner
Here is the final product! The liner has been completely installed and sealed expertly to ensure that as little moisture as possible can make its way into the crawlspace.
Another view of Installed CleanSpace
There are never enough pictures of CleanSpace. It transforms the entire look and function of a crawlspace, all for the better! Our crew also does a great job in working around obstacles and sealing around them.
Encapsulated Crawlspace with CleanSpace
This picture gives a pretty good view of how tight our crew lays the CleanSpace Liner. It is laid in such a way that it is very difficult to tear (the 20 mm thickness also helps this) or pull off of the crawlspace wall.
Installed Sump Pump
Here is the sump pump and dehumidifier that was installed in the crawlspace. This sump pump also has a battery back-up so that if the power goes out in the home, the battery will kick in.
Crew Sealing CleanSpace Liner
Here is one of our crew members working on sealing the CleanSpace to a support column in the crawlspace.
