Condensation on Ducts
Water in a crawlspace is never a good sign. Water often condenses on ducts and pipes in the crawlspace. When the warm air touches the cold pipe, the moisture from the air condenses on the pipes and ducts.
Damaged Wood
You can see this wood has been damaged by the moisture in the crawlspace
Crawlspace before Installation
This is a photo of the crawlspace before any products were put down. You can see the falling insulation that is prevalent throughout the entire crawlspace.
Fireplace After Waterguard Installation
You can see the water on both the floor joist and the insulation. The instrument pictured is a moisture meter, used to measure the moisture on different surfaces.
Fallen Insulation
This is another picture of the fallen insulation. You can see just how bad the insulation was under the home. The reason the insulation falls is because it absorbs a lot of the excess moisture. This causes it to become heavy and start to sag, until it eventually falls.
Installed Drain Tile
Drain tile is actually a 3 inch wide plastic pipe that allows water to flow into it and drain to the sump pump. This drain tile helps to keep any water that is under the CleanSpace liner moving, so that it doesn't sit stagnant.
Installed CleanSpace
Here is the final product. This is what CleanSpace looks like when it is installed. As you can see, our crews do a great job on hugging the floors and walls. You won't have to worry about tearing this liner or pulling the liner off of the wall.
Finished CleanSpace Installation
This is another view of the finished crawlspace. As you can see, the floor is completely covered and the CleanSpace even goes up the columns in order to keep the crawlspace as sealed off as possible.
Installed CleanSpace and Dehumidifier
This picture shows of a few products. First off, it gives a pretty good look at the installed CleanSpace liner throughout most of the basement. You can also see the SantaFe Dehumidifier that was installed in the crawlspace. Last but not least, you can see the bucket of MoldX, which is what we use in order to clean off and prevent the growth of mold in the crawlspace.
Looking Out
Here you can see how the CleanSpace liner goes allll the way up to the door. In the background of the photo, you can even see one of our crew members working on the EverLast Door.
Looking In!
A view from the outside, looking into the finished crawlspace. The only thing left to do for us is to put on and install the air tight EverLast Door.
