High Moisture Level in Greenville, SC Crawlspace Leads to CleanSpace Encapsulation

Many homeowners don't realize that they have moisture issues until someone else makes them aware of a possible issue. One of the biggest reasons for this is because a lot of homeowners hardly ever go under their home, and even when they do, they probably don't know some of the signs of water intrusion and high moisture levels. However there are many contractors that frequently work in crawlspaces who know some common signs of moisture issues.

This happened to be the case for this homeowner. When they had a pest control company at their home, the technician noticed that the moisture level was much too high in the crawlspace. While it was great that the technician noticed the high moisture level, a good amount of "damage" had already begun, such as mold already growing on the floor joists in the crawlspace and soaked floors. The high moisture level in the crawlspace of this home was taken care of with the installation of CleanSpace and several other products that help to keep the water out of the crawlspace. Our crew installed 3-inch drain tile around the perimeter of the crawlspace which helps to drain the water down the the SuperSump Pump System that was also installed in the crawlspace. There was also a dehumidifier that was put in the crawlspace in order to remove any moisture that wasn't caught by the CleanSpace.
