Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Lexington, SC Basement Wants New Drain System for Existing Sump Pump

We’ve seen it all. We’ve researched it all. We’ve installed it all. It never gets olds, but there haven’t been too many cases to stump us here at All-Dry of the Carolinas. Now, this Lexington, South Carolina basement could have been one of those cases, but luckily it was not. We were approached with this project by owners who had tried a waterproofing system before ours. It worked, and it worked well, until it didn’t. The piping system no longer carried the excess water to the sump pump. Water from the walls would pool and dry against the floors without getting near the sump pump. It was a mess. And, messes like those are best dealt a clean solution. The homeowners wanted a new drain system. There was no doubt about that. However, they wanted to keep their original sump pump, which seemed to work perfectly fine. There were no disagreements on our side of the table. So, our Design Specialist, Alex Rogers concluded that—in total—the basement needed WaterGuard (our patented drain system) and CleanSpace Wall. It was the combination of these products—installed by Francisco’s crew—that led to the successful waterproofing of this basement. People come to us with a lot of requests sometimes. We try our best to abide by those requests to our best ability. Luckily for us, this owner’s request turned out beautifully.
