Evidence is Not Absent
A sure sign that water is invading your home-besides the obvious puddle-is the efflorescence left behind. This is the white, flaky substance along the walls and floors.
Floors
Here is a closer look at the water damage on the floor. The floor is now dotted with a collage of light and dark spots.
The Original Pump
This is the original sump pump. It's an older model, but the owners were more than happy to keep it and run a new piping system to it. From what we saw, the pump was perfectly fine.
Making It Work
This is a slightly updated version of the sump pump. We've also installed the WaterGuard around the sump pump.
Working Together
This is the first step of the WaterGuard and CleanSpace Wall install. It's placed around the perimeter of the entire room. The object is to collect water from the walls. The CleanSpace helps keep that water contained as well.
Final Finish
The final product look. This is how it looks once we've finished the WaterGuard and CleanSpace Wall install. The cement, of course, is still wet, but soon it will blend right into the floor.
Last Look
One perk about WaterGuard and CleanSpace, is their versatility. The two products can fit into also any spot. They are definitely worth their weight.
