Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basment in Gaffney, SC Suffers From Water Issues and Receives a SuperSump and WaterGuard

This basement in Gaffney, South Carolina was experiencing major moisture issues. The block walls, whenever it would rain, would leak water down the walls and onto the floor. The family had plans to renovate the room and make it livable, but with that water issue that just wasn’t possible. They’d already painted the walls. But with this water problem, the homeowners knew that there would be nothing they could do if the water ruined the paint. Needless to say, the family finally decided to do something about the problem. They called All-Dry of the Carolinas to set up a free estimate. Our Design Specialist was able to go out to the home, and concluded the basement needed a couple products to alleviate the water problems. In all, our crew installed BrightWall, a SuperSump pump, and WaterGuard, our patented piping system. The basement no longer had to worry about that water anymore. Project Paused

The owners began attempting to redecorate this space. They had only gotten so far when they realized they could go no longer. The basement issues were making it difficult to continue.

Our WaterGuard

Here's what we did to remedy the problem. All along the perimeter of the basement, we installed our patented WaterGuard piping system. The piping is designed so it sits against the concrete and captures the water from the walls. It is then recovered with cement and left to dry.

The great thing about our WaterGuard is that we even install it in corners. It provides total coverage.

It's All About Connections

Sump pumps are the perfect partner to WaterGuard. This sump pump, our SuperSump pump, is connected to the WaterGuard system. The sump pump receives the water from the sump pump and directs it out of the basement.

As you can see, this is the pipe that collects the water from the sump and directs it out of the basement. It's all a really clean way of doing things.
