Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Greer, SC Crawlspace Needs CleanSpace and Dehumidifier

This Greer, South Carolina crawlspace had quite a few problems before All-Dry of the Carolinas became involved. On a constant basis, they had moisture issues. And, because the crawlspace was so large, these problems echoed throughout the rest of the rest of the house. The floors buckled, the carpets were smelly, mold travelled upstairs, and the doors and windows were sticking. Judging by the look of this crawlspace, we can see where all those problems began. The family tried to compensate for the dirt floor by installing a thin liner against most of the floor. The only problem with this is that it still didn’t cover all of the dirt. And so, the crawlspace wasn’t fully protected from the water vapor that would rise from the ground. Moreover, the vents in the crawlspace allowed outside air to come in and further disrupt the humidity in the crawlspace. This made the entire space extremely humid. When All-Dry of the Carolinas inspected the crawlspace, we intended to change all of that. Our Design Specialist suggested several things to fix these issues. He concluded that the crawlspace needed CleanSpace, drainage matting, a SuperSump pump, and a dehumidifier.
