Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Drain Tile and Rain Chute Installed in West Columbia, SC

This West Columbia, SC home was experiencing some major flooding issues. The homeowner had recently had gutters installed to help with the water; however, this was not helping the water issue at all. It didn’t make it worse, but they didn’t see any change in the amount of water coming into the home. That’s when they decided to give All-Dry of the Carolinas a call. Our Design Specialist decided the best way to handle this property would be to install down spouts, Drain Tile and our Rain Chute. Before we came out there, this homeowner was using an exposed pipe to direct water away from the home. For short term use, the pipe is fine, but in the long run they would need a more permanent fixture. That’s when we came in and dug a trench near the house. Within this trench, we ran a fixture to carry the water around the home and away from the foundation. Unlike the black pipe that was there before, this solution is way more pleasing and it does the job much better.
