Entrance to the Storage Area
This photo shows off the door leading into this small storage area that was attached to the house. The left side of the photo shows how a good portion of this storage area was below ground level. This is where the water was coming in, the area where the foundation (wall) was in contact with the earth, with water getting pushed through the block walls.
Storage Area During Initial Inspection
Here is the area where the homeowner stored many of his landscaping tools as well as some other miscellaneous items. It wasn't a large area, but the water intrusion issue still needed to be taken care to prevent damage to what was stored in the area.
Dug Out Area for Sump Pump and WaterGuard
This photo shows quite a progression from the last two pictures. The crew has already dug out/removed the concrete in the area where the SuperSump and WaterGuard drain will be installed at. The crew at this point had also installed the CleanSpace wall, meaning it was almost time for the sump pump and WaterGuard to be installed!
Installed CleanSpace Liner
This photo gives a much better view of the CleanSpace that was installed along this wall. The CleanSpace helps to seal off the area and prevent water and moisture from getting into this area. The CleanSpace was especially important in this case because of how this area was partially below grade.
Installed SuperSump Pump
While each product is extremely important to the system, the sump pump is very important. The sump pump is what actually pumps the water out and away from the home, making sure that the doesn't find its way back into the area. Our sump pump systems have many different features that the average sump pump doesn't.
Sump Discharge Line and LawnScape Outlet
The leaves may help cover up the tracks a little bit, but our crew did an excellent job installing the discharge and an even better job at covering it up. And if you can't tell what we're referring, there is a small green outlet slightly down and left of the center of the picture. This is where the water that is pumped out of the area will come out at.
