Basement Before Installation
While this doesn't give a great view on the entire basement, it does give a glimpse into one of the areas that was being affected by the water intrusion.
Storage Space in Garage
This was one of the areas that was affected by the water intrusion in the basement. This was more of a storage space, which is even more important for the homeowner, because the water can easily damage and destroy items in the area. Fortunately for the homeowner, the system that we installed takes all these worries away!
Installed BrightWall Panels and WaterGuard
This gives a great glimpse at the system that was installed in the basement of this home. In order to properly protect this home from water intrusion we installed both BrightWall and WaterGuard, which work great together in order to keep water out of the basement. There were a few other products also installed to help out this system.
More Installed BrightWall and WaterGuard
Both the BrightWall and WaterGuard are extremely important to this system and work together to make sure that the basement stays dry through even the heaviest of rains. The WaterGuard is installed in the floor and leaves a small gap between the floor and wall for water to run into. The BrightWall covers the the basement walls and keeps any water that comes in through the walls from getting into the basement, instead the water is drained straight to the WaterGuard.
WaterGuard Inspection Port
Here is one last look at the WaterGuard that was installed in the basement. This shows one of the corners of the basement, where the WaterGuard comes together. In the corner's our crew installs an inspection port, so if anything ever does go wrong with the system, it helps to diagnose the problem easier. This photo also gives a pretty good look at the gap between the floor and the wall that the WaterGuard leaves.
Installed SuperSump System
All of the products that were installed in this home were important and work together to protect the home from further water intrusion and damage. The SuperSump is a very important part of the system, because it is what actually pumps the water out and away from the home.
Installed IceGuard
While this may seem like an insignificant part of the system, it is actually very important, especially since the homeowner did not live here year round. The IceGuard ensures that the discharge line does not freeze up and prevent the sump pump from getting the water out of the basement.
