Entrance to the Garage
This is the area where the sump pump discharge will come out, which can be seen in one of the later photos. This was a split-level home, which is one of the biggest reasons that the garage was experiencing water intrusion, while the rest of the home was not experiencing any.
Further Back in the Garage
This shows the area that had been affected by the water intrusion, but further back into the garage. It is difficult to see the damage caused by the water intrusion, but it was beginning to start to cause more issues. Fortunately the homeowner was proactive about the situation and we were able to take care of it before it before it got too bad!
Wider View of the Garage
Here is another photo of the affected area, although this shows a little wider view. In this photo you can see a little more of the water intrusion along the wall, especially more towards the bottom of the wall. This wall was the main area that the water was coming in through, and was where the WaterGuard was installed.
Installed WaterGuard Drain
Here is the solution that to the issue that this homeowner was dealing with. While it cannot really be seen, WaterGuard has been installed in the floor along the wall. This drain catches the water as it comes through the and takes it away before it can ever stick around. It is not an invasive system at all, which our customers love!
Sump Pump and Discharge Line
Here is the sump pump system that was installed in the garage of the home. The WaterGuard had a slight decline to it so that the water would drain off to the sump pump. The SuperSump would then pump out the water into the drainage pipe that the homeowner already had installed.
