Basement Before WaterGuard Installation
Here is what the basement looked like before the WaterGuard was installed. As you can see, this basement had not been affected too much by water intrusion, and the reason the homeowner was having this work done was to get ahead of the problem.
Another Photo of the Pre-Installation Basement
Here is another photo of the basement before the WaterGuard and SuperSump pump were installed. Again, this homeowner caught the problem much sooner than many other people, and because he was familiar with our company he knew exactly who to call!
Installed WaterGuard
This is some of the WaterGuard drain that was installed in the basement of this home. The WaterGuard was installed around the back wall of the basement, and wrapped around the sides just a few feet. This helps to ensure that any water coming in through the back wall is caught if it comes around the sides of the home.
Close Up of WaterGuard
This photo shows a close up of the WaterGuard that was installed in the basement of this home. It can be a little difficult to see, but there is actually a small gap between the floor and the wall. This gap is basically the main part of our system, it is what actually allows the water into the drain and keeps the water from just sitting on the basement floor.
Wider View of the Installed WaterGuard
While the owner was able to catch the problem pretty early on, they still had some damage caused by the water intrusion. Fortunately for them, this was about the worst it got in the basement. In this photo, you can see the WaterGuard installed along this entire wall, where the majority of the water was coming through.
Gap Between Basement Wall and Floor
Here is an even better picture of the gap that was mentioned before. As you can see, it is an extremely small gap between the floor and wall, however it does a great job at keeping the water out of the basement. Not only does it do a great job, but it really is not noticeable unless you really look for it.
One Last Close Up of WaterGuard
Here is what the WaterGuard looks like on the corner of the installation. We make sure there are no gaps in our gap! It goes all of the way around the corner, making sure that no water has the chance to get on the basement floor.
Installed SuperSump Pump System
Here is the sump pump that was installed in this home to pump out the water that was coming into the basement. The sump pump is placed in the lowest area, so the WaterGuard runs straight to the sump pump.
Another View of the Sump Pump
This photo shows a little bit more of how the sump pump is positioned compared to the rest of the system. As you can see this is at the end of the wall that was having the most water intrusion, so all of the water from the rest of the system will flow down to this area.
Completed System and Dried Concrete
Here is what the area looked like with the concrete completely dried and after the homeowner had moved everything back to the way he wished. As you can see, the concrete has completely dried and while there is a little discoloration, it is pretty hard to notice it.
