Problem Area
This was one of the biggest problem areas for the basement, because of this pipe. The main issue with this pipe was its seal, which was not tight enough to keep water from leaking out. Since this was not a heavily used area, the problems that it was causing went unnoticed for quite some time. Luckily our crew was able to dig it out and solve the issue.
Area by the Basement Stairs
Here is an area in the basement before our crew came in to install our products and protect the basement from any further damage. This area may not be the worst that you have ever seen, but it certainly does need to be taken care of. The difference between this flooring and the how the area looked after we were done with it was incredible.
Basement After Installation
The amount of work that was done in this basement cannot even be seen in this photo. However, compare this picture with the last one and you can see how big of a difference we were able to make in this basement. Not only does the area look better, but the products that were installed will also prevent this area from being destroyed by water ever again.
Too Much to See
You may think that this is a pretty average basement with only a sump pump, but you would be wrong. Almost everything that is in this photo is a product that we installed. The most obvious is the TripleSafe sump pump in the corner of the room, but we also installed the CleanSpace liner, which is the white plastic that runs along the bottom of the wall. That's it, right? Nope, the carpet is actually our ThermalDry Flooring, which actually sits above the concrete floor of the basement so that any moisture in the crawlspace will not soak into the carpet and allow mold to grow.
Wider View of the Basement
Here is another wide view of finished basement. This was not the quickest job that we've ever completed, but it was absolutely worth it. We were able to completely transform this essentially useless place, and give the homeowner an area to enjoy that they were not able to before.
Close Up of TripleSafe Installation
This picture shows a close up view of the sump pump that was shown in one of the earlier pictures. The TripleSafe is the best sump pump that we offer and has many beneficial features that include; 3 total pumps (one ran on DC power), WaterWatch Alarm, and other great features.
Downspout Extensions
This was one of the biggest things that we did for this homeowner. One reason that so much water was coming through the basement walls was because when it would rain, the water would just sit around the home and soak through the foundation walls. Having these downspout extensions do an extremely good job of taking and keeping water away from the home.
Hidden Drain Line
The downspout extensions and the drains coming from them were all around the home, and a pipe this large and bright would have been an eyesore outside the home. So our crew buried these lines all around the home. Here is just one small section that has already been laid, and is in the process of being covered up.
Drain Lines Coming Together
These are where the two drain lines from either side of the home met up. It wasn't in the most convenient of locations because there was a concrete walkway where the drain lines had to go. Our crew had to cut out a small area of the walkway so that the drains could go under and drain to the street.
Drains to the Street During Work
Here are the drain lines that were shown in the last photo. As you can see, they come from the the front of the house and around the side of the home. Our crews are very methodical in the way that they do things, such as removing dirt when digging. As you can see, the grass and dirt that was removed was done very carefully, so that our mark on your yard is extremely small.
After Photo of the Front Yard
As mentioned in the last photo, we want your home (and yard) to look like we have never been there, while still retaining all of the benefits of All-Dry having been at your home. Of course you can see a line of "misplaced" dirt/grass, but soon enough this will look like almost no work was ever done on this home, minus the two drains by the sidewalk.
LawnScape Outlets
Here are two more outlets for water to drain out of. These LawnScape Outlets are low profile enough for the homeowner to not worry about running over them with a lawnmower or anything else. They are also far enough away from the home that no water will run back towards the home.
