Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Foundation Repair and Waterproofing in Clemson, SC

This basement in Clemson, South Carolina needed a little love. It was heavily used by the homeowner, so they called us to make sure it was safe and dry for them! To help them with their problems, our crew ended up installed our Waterguard drain system as well as our CarbonArmor Straps to ensure the foundation was stable.

Crack in Basement Wall

This photo shows a relatively large stair step crack from the very top of the wall, almost to the bottom. This is a definite sign of bowing walls.

While not nearly as significant as the last picture, the cracks on this wall are also quite visible.

Future Location of Sump Pump

This is where the sump pump will be installed. The sump pump that this homeowner went with was the SuperSump pump with a battery backup (for power outages).

Here is the installed SuperSump. You can see the discharge line, which leaves the house on the left-hand wall. The Waterguard that was installed in the basement, runs off to the sump pump, so that the water doesn't stay in the basement.

Here is the installed Waterguard. It runs along the entire wall, so that it catches any water that seeps through the basement wall.

CarbonArmor Strips Installed

These CarbonArmor strips are extremely strong and very flexible, which make them great to help with bowing walls. CarbonArmor is also great for basements like this one, because it is used so much. They are extremely low-profile and can easily be painted over, making them a great option for basements like this.
