Basement After Flooding
This basement was one of the worst that we've seen. While the homeowner did a pretty good job on cleaning up, you can still see the clay and mud that has been left behind and stuck in the cracks and grooves of the tile.
Clay Washed Into Basement
This was all washed in during a flood. This homeowner stored a lot of their basement and had to watch couches and other items get ruined by the water and mud.
Basement Before Drain System Installed
This was another area that wasn't nearly as badly damaged. You can see that it has some clay residue around the perimeter of this room.
Installed Waterguard in Basement
Here is some of the installed Waterguard in the basement. This Waterguard drain gives any intruding water a place to go. If the water came in before, it would just sit there, stagnant, as the water poured in.
Installed Waterguard
Here is another view of even more Waterguard in another room in the basement. Not only will this give a large amount of water a place to go, but it also helps with passive water intrusion, through the floors and walls. After the water gets into the drain, it goes to the sump pump and is then pumped out.
Drain by Outer Door
This drain helps to catch any water from the outside before it even makes it into the home.
