Basement Wall Before Installation
This gives a pretty good view of what the basement looked like before our crew came out to install the system. While there does not seem to be much damage, there is some staining on the wall, which is a very common sign of water intrusion. Fortunately this homeowner caught the issues before too much damage was done!
Another Photo of the Basement Walls
Here is another photo of the basement before our crew got to work on fixing the foundation issue and waterproofing the area. As you can see, the homeowner used their basement at storage, which made waterproofing the area even more important. Our system will ensure that this homeowner's belongings are safe from water damage.
Installed CarbonArmor Strips
This is what our Specialist proposed to help with the foundation issues that the homeowner was dealing with. As mentioned earlier, the foundation issues had just started and were in the very early stages, so these CarbonArmor strips were perfect. They are able to prevent further bowing, and since these walls had just began to bow, these strips have stopped them extremely early.
CarbonArmor Before CleanSpace Installation
Here the CarbonArmor strips that were installed can be seen, just before they are to be covered with CleanSpace. The crew made sure that the strips dried before putting the CleanSpace up in order to ensure that the CarbonArmor was doing its job. The CleanSpace will also cover up the strips, making the area look even better.
One Last Picture of the CarbonArmor Strips
This is the majority of the CarbonArmor strips that had been installed in the basement. These strips ensure that the basement wall will continue to hold up and be secure, with no more bowing taking place. Once the CleanSpace is in position, the strips won't even be able to be seen!
Installed CleanSpace and WaterGuard
This is what the final project looked like with all of the products installed. The two main products that can be seen in this picture are CleanSpace Liner and WaterGuard drain. The CleanSpace catches water coming through the basement walls and helps direct the water down to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard then collects the water and drains it to the sump pump.
More of the Finished Project
This is another view of the installed CleanSpace and WaterGuard, but around the corner from the previous photo. The CleanSpace is expertly installed by our crew who has a lot of experience with installing CleanSpace. They even cut out around and seal the liner up around fixtures on the wall, such as the one in this photo.
CleanSpace Being Secured
In this photo, the CleanSpace is actually being attached to the wall, working from the top down. Securing and sealing the CleanSpace is one of the most important parts, because it is what keeps the moisture from getting into the basement. The CleanSpace reaches all of the way up to the top of the wall, in order to catch the most water.
Installed SuperSump Pump System
Here is another huge part of the system, although it may not seem like it. The SuperSump is what actually pumps the water out and away from the home. Without this pump, the water would just sit in the WaterGuard, which wouldn't solve any problems. However, the SuperSump system is one of the best pumps we have and have several different features including an alarm, airtight lid, and a pump that is able to handle over 2,500 gallons per hour.
