Soaked Basement Floor
While this is a pretty crowded photo, water can very clearly been seen all over the floor. This shows just how significant the water intrusion was in this basement. This was a serious issue that we had to take care of before the problems got even worse in the basement.
Basement Before Installation
Here is more of the basement that was having a lot of water intrusion. There is water all along the joint between the floor and wall of the basement, with even more water soaking through in the corner. This was a very serious issue and we were glad that the homeowner contacted us before the problems got even worse.
Retaining Wall Causing the Water Intrusion
The ground behind this retaining wall was the main cause for a lot of the water intrusion in this basement. A lot of water was getting soaked up by the ground and slowly soaking through the basement walls. While this is a difficult issue to solve from the outside, our internal drainage system is certainly enough!
Installed BrightWall Paneling
This photo gives a close-up view of the BrightWall paneling that was installed in the basement of this home. These panels serve several different purposes (just like many of our other products). The most important function that they serve is to keep the water from getting into the basement by directing the water directly into the WaterGuard. However, they also help brighten up the area and give the basement a more finished look.
Installed WaterGuard Drain and BrightWall
This shows both the BrightWall and the WaterGuard drain that was installed. The BrightWall covers the entire wall so that all the water is caught and falls straight to the WaterGuard drain that is installed in the floor. The WaterGuard collects any water that comes into the basement and is installed in such a way that the water goes straight to the sump pump, where it is then pumped away from the home.
Wider View of the Installation
All three of the products that were installed in this basement can be seen in this photo. The WaterGuard and BrightWall have been touched on extensively, but the sump pump has not been. It is the SuperSump Pump System and is in the right-hand corner of the photo. This pump system is able to pump out over 2,600 gallons per hour which is more than enough to handle the water that this basement was experiencing.
