Basement Before Installation
As you can see, this homeowner used their basement pretty extensively. It was important that we got the problems taken care of sooner, rather than later because neither us nor the homeowner would want anything to get damaged by water intrusion.
Installation of WaterGuard and SuperSump Pump
Here you can see part of the installation of the WaterGuard and the SuperSump. The CleanSpace is already installed on the wall, as well as the PowerBrace beams. There was not much left to do besides installing the discharge for the SuperSump and then cover everything up with concrete!
WaterGuard Being Installed
Here is another photo of the WaterGuard being installed around the perimeter of the basement. As you can see, the CleanSpace and PowerBraces have already been installed, and the last step of the process is to install the drain that helps take the water to the sump pump, where it is then pumped out and away from the home.
Installation in Process Photo
This photo shows a small portion of the basement that was being worked on by our crew. You can see that (again) most of the work was finished, but the crew was still working on cutting and installing the WaterGuard.
Bottom Anchor for PowerBrace
Here is the bottom anchor for the PowerBraces that were installed in the basement. This is where the beam is connected to, which gives it a strong foundation to help support the wall, preventing it from bowing any further. The top anchor looks and functions very differently than the bottom anchor.
Installed PowerBraces and CleanSpace
This picture shows a few of the installed PowerBraces in the basement. These have a similar function to wall anchors, because they can be tightened as time passes. Meaning that over time the condition of the wall can improve, rather than just stopping the wall from falling over or getting worse.
Installation Almost Complete
Here is a photo of the basement with all of the products installed. The crew was almost done at this point, with only a few smaller tasks to complete. As you can see, the CleanSpace and PowerBraces had been installed, and the crew had finally finished installing the WaterGuard and have already covered it up with concrete.
Another Photo of the Finished Installation
Here is another photo showing more of the completed installation. As you can see, this homeowner used this area as a workshop, which was one of his main reasons for getting the work done. He wanted to make sure that everything in this area was protected from water, and the issues that come with it.
Top Anchor Point for PowerBrace
Here is the top anchor point for the PowerBrace. The anchor is installed between the two floor joists, which provide a stable foundation for the PowerBrace beam. The system can be adjusted by tightening the bolt in the center of the anchor point.
Another View of the Top Anchor
Here is what the top anchor of the PowerBrace looks like when installed. As you can see, it is bolted to the floor joists which gives it the strength and proper foundation to provide support to the PowerBrace.
