This homeowner was worried about his crawlspace when he started to notice water on his old crawlspace liner. So he gave us a call to see what we would be able to do for him. Our Specialist came up with a great solution to his problem which included installing a CleanSpace Liner, drainage matting, a condensate pump, an EverLast Door, and a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. All of these products work together in this crawlspace to make sure that water stays out of the crawlspace and the relative humidity level of the crawlspace stays low.

Here is what the entrance to the crawlspace looked like. It was actually one of the better doors that we have seen, however even a nice door like this lets a lot of air and moisture into the crawlspace, which is why we suggested that the homeowner go with an airtight Everlast door.

This is what the inside of the crawlspace looked like once you entered through the door. Fortunately for the crew, at least part of this "crawlspace" had enough room to stand up and even a little more room after that! In this photo, the old crawlspace liner can be seen covering the floor.

This is one of the main reasons that this homeowner called us initially. He knew that water in the crawlspace could mean some pretty bad news, so he wanted us to come out and see what we could do for him as soon as possible.

Another View of the Unencapsulated Crawlspace

Here is another photo of the unencapsulated crawlspace, with only this thinner, unsealed liner to protect his crawlspace. One of the biggest issues with this liner is that it was not sealed up on the wall. This is important, because if it is not sealed, then water and moisture can come through the ground and wall.

New CleanSpace Liner and Dehumidifier

This photo shows the same area as the last picture, but with the CleanSpace and new SaniDry CX dehumidifier installed. As you can see, the CleanSpace is much thicker and sturdy. This helps to prevent moisture coming through, as well as ripping and tearing. The dehumidifier helps to keep the relative humidity level of the crawlspace low.

This shows what the CleanSpace liner looked like when the crew was finished with the installation. As you can see, junction boxes, pipes, and everything in between didn't bother the crew. They do a great job of going around these obstacles, while still providing as much protection as possible for the crawlspace.

Here is another photo showing off the installed CleanSpace. As you can see, unlike the old liner this homeowner had, our CleanSpace goes all of the way to the top of the wall, and is sealed around everything. This helps to keep as much moisture out of the crawlspace as possible.

This photo shows one of our crew members working to seal the CleanSpace to the crawlspace wall. This helps to keep the CleanSpace on the wall, as well as to keep the moisture from getting into the crawlspace. You can see that the crew wears boot covers into the crawlspace so they don't dirty up the CleanSpace!

Installed Dehumidifier

Here is the installed SaniDry CX dehumidifier and the condensate pump to the right of it. The SaniDry helps to remove excess moisture from the air, and the condensate pumps the water out of the home, so that the the dehumidifier doesn't have to be drained by hand.

Old Dehumidifier

Here is the old dehumidifier that was in this homeowner's crawlspace. As you can see, this homeowner tried his best to take care of this problem using other methods that were "similar" to ours, however they were not nearly as effective. Our system has proven time and time again to be extremely effective in protecting homes.
