Mold Under Home
Here is a relatively large amount of mold under this home. This mold is caused by too much moisture being in the crawlspace. If left completely unchecked, this mold could have gotten much worse and caused this homeowner and family some serious health issues.
Low Clearance Crawlspace
This photo gives a pretty good look at how low this crawlspace was. Even though it was a very tight squeeze, our crew was still able to complete this job without a hitch.
Crawlspace before Installation
This is another view of the crawlspace before the CleanSpace was installed. While this home definitely didn't have water pouring in, it did have enough moisture to cause some real mold growth.
Old Liner in Crawlspace
This was the old liner that the homeowner had installed before we came along to help them with this problem. This old liner was not sealed correctly and didn't really act as a proper vapor barrier
Installed CleanSpace Liner
Our CleanSpace Liner on the other hand was sealed expertly by out crew members. This seal is very strong and won't pull off of the wall. However, the main thing that the seal does for the crawlspace is to keep moisture from getting in the crawlspace. The less moisture that is able to get into the crawlspace, the better and healthier a crawlspace will be.
Low Crawlspace with CleanSpace Liner Installed
These pipes made it even more difficult on our crew, but they kept on pushing through the pain! Our crews are hard-working and will do almost anything to complete a job. This is another great view of the installed CleanSpace liner.
CleanSpace and Dehumidifier Installed
This isn't a trick! While much of this crawlspace was less than two feet of clearance, there was an area near the entrance of the crawlspace that was more than enough room to stand up in. This was fortunate, because the clearance was so little, that the dehumidifier would have been a very tight fit, if it could fit at all.
Another view after CleanSpace has been installed
Here is one other area in the crawlspace that did have a little more clearance than the main part. The crew sure did love getting to work on this area, it even allowed them to crawl on their hands and knees! While bigger is always better with crawlspaces, our crews are able to do pretty much any size or height!
