Crawlspace Before CleanSpace was Installed
While this crawlspace wasn't in that bad of a condition, it definitely needed some work done to it. As you can see, there is some insulation that has fallen, which is usually caused by moisture in the crawlspace.
Homeowner using Crawlspace as storage
While there is nothing wrong with using a crawlspace for storage, especially for non-organic items, an encapsulated crawlspace is much safer to store things in. One reason storing organic material in an unecapsulated crawlspace can be bad is because mold can only grow on organic material, like wood, paper, and in this photo, cardboard.
Finished Product with CleanSpace Installed
This is what the final product looks like. While this homeowner opted out of taking the CleanSpace all the way of the wall, it completely covers the floor, and is sealed onto the wall.
Another View of the CleanSpace Liner
Another view of the finished product, here you see how the crew cut the liner to go around the hot water heater, while still keeping the seal tight.
Installed SantaFe Dehumidifier
This is the dehumidifier that was installed in the crawlspace. This takes out any water in the air, and then drains it to the sump pump, where the water is then pumped outside of the home.
