Large Crack in Outside Wall
This is one of the many reasons why this customer called us. This large crack is a major sign of foundation settling and was in much need of repair. This foundation settling is more common in older homes that have had more time to settle.
Fresh Poured Concrete
This is just one of the areas where the push piers were installed. After the holes were filled, a new concrete walkway was laid. Just like before!
Push Piers in action
This is how the push piers raise the house. Hydraulic fluid is pumped into the push piers in order to raise them so that the house is level. This photo shows this process in action.
Before photo of where the sump pump will drain
This shows the area where the drainage for the basement will come out to.
After Photo of the Drainage Area
This is the same area as the previous picture. Our crew did some work on this half-wall and after they were finished, they repaved the top and put the pipes in the correct position.
Waterguard Drainage system being installed
The darker area, which is new concrete, is where the Waterguard drainage pipe runs. It goes around the perimeter of the basement and moves any water that makes its way into the basement to the Sump Pumps we install!
Freshly Paved Walkway
After the crew dug to the foundation and installed the push piers, they had to refill the holes that they dug as well as lay new concrete to repair the walkway.
SmartJack System
A view of a few of the SmartJacks that were installed in this customer's crawlspace. This helps to correct sagging floors in a home.
Before Sump Pump Installation
We had to be creative in where we put the sump pump in this basement. Since it was a finished basement, this was a little more difficult. If you look at the next picture, you'll see how we did it!
After Sump Pump Installation
There was a small bookshelf to the right of the fireplace, which was just the perfect size for a sump pump. While this is not the finished product. Always know that if there is a way, we'll find it!
